Duplicate images

Try four times, at least that is the default. WordPress generates 3 resizes for every 1 image uploaded by default. This may increase as plugins and themes often add more resizes.

You can fix it via the advanced EWWW settings or by visiting your Media settings, and changing the dimensions to 0 for any images you do not want to be generated. I don’t know that it is possible to disable the standard thumbnail size, and I think it’s a bad idea anyway, as it would make your media library very sluggish loading all full-size images.

That IS strange, but has nothing to do with EWWW or even any default WP functions. Looks like a theme update/setting. I’d check with your theme author to see what is going on.
I suppose it could be some sort of plugin too, if you’re using something special for the business listings.

Are you sure? Could you check if all my settings are correct or optimum please?

Unless the WebP rewriting is doing something weird, but it would still need interaction from another plugin to cause that.

Post the debug information from the settings page, and I’ll take a look at the settings.

Everything looks good to me, and since you’re not using any WebP functions, there’s no way EWWW can be disrupting the display of your images on the front-end in that manner.

If it is a plugin, what you can try doing is disable all plugins, and re-enable them one at a time and see which one triggers the problem. Make sure you flush and disable any caching while you are troubleshooting.
If the problem is still present with all plugins disabled, then the root of the problem is within your theme.
