    Hello –

    I installed and set up the plugin, and opted to select the field for GTIN from another plugin that we already used, yet on every single product page it now shows my team 2 identical GTIN fields, and they get confused which one to use.

    When I selected that the plugin should use the other GTIN field from the other plugin, shouldn’t it disable the second field from showing in inventory on product pages?

    I’d be happy to stop using the other GTIN plugin, but I don’t know how to get all of the GTIN’s from that one into yours, so I told yours to use my prior one.

    Additionally, I placed 2 test orders and neither order shows me any Google Shopping popup.

    Had to cancel the update and roll back to the prior version due to the errors caused by this update.

    @joyryde, I looked at the code of that plugin and it is saving the GTIN data in the postmeta just like our plugin does. You should be able to deactivate their plugin and select “hwp_var_gtin” from the GTIN field dropdown in the settings for our plugin. It will use the post meta field that you have been using, so no need to migrate any data.

    Now, the only thing left that you wanted was to display the GTIN field in the product meta next to SKU and Categories. I just added that feature as a checkbox option and also fixed the error you reported. Check out the 2.4 update.

    Thanks Nate! This update seems to solve all of the issues;

    I followed those steps and everything seems to be working perfectly.

    This is awesome, much appreciated!

    One note: I don’t believe that the GTIN plugin I was using would output the text “GTIN:” on product pages when there wasn’t a GTIN entered in the admin panel for a product. Once one was entered it would display that text on the front end, otherwise it wasn’t. Maybe yours can do the same?

    Good point. I just released an update to 2.5 that fixes that. Glad everything’s working well for you!

    Hi Nate –

    Found an issue with the GTIN field display on product pages.

    On pages that have variations, it’s not working. Instead of showing the GTIN it says “Array”.

    Here’s an example:

    I released an update that fixes that issue.

    Thanks Nate – I still see “GTIN: Array” on that page, and every other page with variable products…and there’s no available update in my WordPress dashboard…

    I released update 2.6.1. It might take a little bit before your site picks up the available update.
