    Hello there,

I’ve ran into an issue where the theme and menu are not working the way I’d expect it to work with BetterDocs.

I noticed that the menu, (Plugin for the menu is Groovy Menu), is duplicated on the very top. It seems that the sticky menu is showing up as well before even the page has been scrolled down.

The second issue is that I do not want the site identity to be shown on the top left but I do not wish to delete it completely as it still leaves a blank space with two random lines (dividers). I can edit the page in any shape or form, can’t remove those sections or turn them off. I do not wish to go into editing some HTML just to get rid of that as the rest of the website works completely fine.

Hopefully, someone can help with this issue.

    Hello there @shamser_suzon,
So we basically the only way of getting rid of site information is to erase the site identification completely via customization. Then, making Groovy Menu overwrite the first line of the site.

We still get the “proudly powered by WordPress”. It seems that BetterDocs automatically uses some kind of a default website preset. I am unable to delete these parts of the website nor edit them. Erasing site identification shouldn’t be the proper solution.

I can once again write in the site info for you to see the difference and maybe you could explain what can be done to solve this.

    Hi @fulfillin2668

Your issue needs a deep investigation. I would like to request you to open a support ticket here by explaining your issue in detail with some screenshots as well: https://wpdeveloper.net/support/

    Thank you.

Okay, so I found out that every .php template requests a footer and a header though the Stratus theme overwrites these things with Elementor.

Elementor does not work with BetterDocs and the footer that BetterDocs is trying to extract is some kind of a default footer which cannot be even edited. Now I have to find out how to hide them in order to not ruin the website.

Would be great though if there was an option in better docs to pick whether you wish to use the headers and footers or not.

Deleting “get-header();” somewhat solved the issue with site identity.
