• Hi,

We seem to be getting GA being tracked twice even though “Don’t add the GA tracking code” is enabled. Our settings are:

    Google Analytics Identifier – UA-XXXXXX-1
Don’t add the GA tracking code – Checked (ghosted)
I’m using the Google Tag Manager – Checked
I’m using the Global Site Tags code – Unchecked (ghosted)
    Universal Tracking Code – Checked

I can temporarily fix the duplicate by removing the GA ID from “Google Analytics Identifier” field, but the ga snippet code is still created by the plugin in the header?

Are my settings correct? And how to prevent duplicate GA tracking?

    TIA

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

With your settings, you shouldn’t be gettings another code snippet.
I’ll run a few tests on our servers and will let you know what we find.

    Thanks for the heads up.

This is happening for me as well. Same settings as fpman, same issue. It is inserting the outdated _gaq.push code even though I have selected Gtag *and* “dont add the GA tracking code. This has interfered with my analytics, all of my accounts are showing Bounce Rate 0, which is obviously impossible.
