Hey, I have the Meta browser side events tracked via GTM. Now I wanted to also send these events to CAPI with the help of your plugin. I’ve enabled CAPI in the plugin settings. My understanding was that the plugin would detect the events that are being sent via browser side (already set up via GTM) and send them also through server. However, what I’m seeing is duplicates. For example, for a PageView event, I’m seeing 3 events – 1 PageView with no event_id (presumably coming from the browser side GTM) and then 2 PageView events with event_id (de-duplicated). So all in all, 2 PageView events will be reported for one page view.

Is it possible to somehow configure the plugin to use the existing browser side events (that are set up via GTM) instead of sending additional ones?

In order for the Meta API events to work as expected, the Meta Pixel MUST be installed with our plugin as well. It’s not possible to have it fire using GTM.

But GTM has it’s own CAPI support.
