    Hi,

One of the recent upgrades of this plugin has practically killed my downloads.

Going to the download manager, each entry there seem to have been duplicated, showing twice in the list itself.

Many of the older files (anything beyond the latest 10 entries OR that were created before 2018 – even if updated) are now not there and cannot be updated. This means I can see the row for the download monitor entry (twice), but they both indicate “No file provided”. Going into the entry, it doesn’t show the files or download count and trying to add a file doesn’t work – you can do it, and click UPDATE, but it won’t really update the file.

This seems to be related to changes in the database structure that were made… not sure how and why.

    I’d appreciate help here.

  • Hello @tsahil

    Greetings for the day.

We haven’t found such a report recently.

So, can you please check for conflicting plugins or themes: Disable any recently installed plugins or themes to see if they are causing the issue. Sometimes, conflicts between different plugins or themes can cause such an issue. If disabling the plugins or themes resolves the problem, try enabling them one by one to identify the specific culprit.

Also, please ensure that the attached files are existing in the /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files

This is a new problem that presented itself with 4.8.1 (4.7.78 worked fine).

Reverting back, upgrading again and then upgrading the database got it ok.

Probably, you are using a different plugin, not this one. As, our latest version here is 3.2.72, for pro latest version is 6.3.5
