Hello, I am having the same problem that others have already encountered, namely the notification for the creation of a new post is sent twice by email.
I followed all the recommendations on your “how-can-i-receive-the-best-support” page but nothing changes.
I installed the ‘Email Log’ plugin and we can see that each notification goes out twice at 1 second interval.
So I duplicated the site which is online to carry out tests and it turns out that with all the subscribers (around 80) the emails go out in duplicate and with 3 or 4 subscribers the emails go out normally. A way to solve this? Thank you so much

    Hi @declicben,
    Thanks for your message.

This almost always happens for one of three reasons:

    1. A plugin is hooking into the publish action and is causing a duplicate. Usual suspects are social plugins.
    2. A caching plugin is doing this. WP Rocket used to do this but this was fixed at their end a few months ago.
    3. The server is underpowered.

Could any of these be a possibility?

Hello and thank you for your answer.
    – the server has no performance issues especially since we have a large shop also installed on it which runs very well.
    – So far I haven’t installed a cache plugin yet.
    – I haven’t installed a social plugin but there are two other notification plugins (WP SMS send SMS and OneSignal Push Notifications). Maybe the problem comes from these 2!
    Thank you

    Hi @declicben,

Yes, those would be my thoughts as to suggested culprits.
If you make your way through this document, you should be able to narrow it down.

Thank you very much I will proceed by step by deactivating the two plugins that could cause the error
