Duplicate Emails for "Your username and password"

  • For any reason, new users subscribed to the site are getting duplicated welcome emails with subject: “[blogname] Your username and password”. I guess this started to happen after I upgraded Cimy User Extra Fields plugin. I am under the impression that the pluggable function that overrides the welcome email is not having any effect. They are receiving the default email sent by WordPress and the email sent by Cimy (both with the same subject). I am interested to receive only the email sent by Cimy, as I removed the password from there.
