• Hello,

I’ve updated the WP-CRM and my form is now allowing duplicate emails addresses. It used to give them an error message if they tried to register again. Is there a fix for this? Our form is specific to exhibitors applications. Some exhibitors have 2 companies and if they use the same email then it overwrites the other company they submitted first. Then we are unable to invoice the first company only the 2nd company.

This function was working but we just received duplicate emails from different companies. I then updated the WP-CRM and the issue is still there.

Thank you in advance for your help. (P.S. I do not have “Allow user accounts to be created without an e-mail address.” enable and I do not have “Do not require users with existing accounts to sign in first.” enabled.

I should also mention that I use WP-CRM on 5 different websites and it is doing the issue above on all of them. So if there is a fix (a line of code or something) then can you let me know the file to change so I can do it on all of them? Thanks!

    Hello.

Do you know how we can replicate the issue.
    Can you provide some steps?
Also please mention which plugins&versions do you have on your site and theme.

To fix issue you can delete email for particular user in your database.

    Regards.

I am using Version 1.0.5 of wp-crm and I am running WordPress 4.4.1.

So basically I do not want the same email to be allowed to fill out the form. It was working until I upgraded. Now a person can use the same email to submit the form which if they change any information on that form it changes it in wp-crm.

I do not have “Allow user accounts to be created without an e-mail address.” enabled and I do not have “Do not require users with existing accounts to sign in first.” enabled.

Now understood what are you talking about. That was always in such way. If you user submit the form for the second time it overwrites their data.

Right, but I was able to not allow them to send in a form 2 times. It just stopped working once I updated. We can’t have the information overwritten. Thanks in advance for your responses.

If you customized something directly in plugin, updates overvwrite your changes.
