    We upgraded Subscribe2 plugin last Friday and now everyone who is both a public subscriber and a registered subscriber are getting 2 copies of the post emails. Should I change the recipients per email from zero to one? Not sure what the setting was before the upgrade.

    Changing the number of recipients per email from 0 to 1 is an excellent place to start.

    I’d also suggest (temporarily at least) installing an email logging plugin to see if duplicate emails are being generated or whether the duplicate is happening after the plugin has generated the email.
