    Hi!

I notice that sometimes I am getting duplicate e-commerce transactional data in Google Analytics. For example when a customer left the thankyou/order-received page open on their tablet and reloads it a few times in the days after the order. Major annoying!

Is there any fix for this? It amazed me not reading more about this ‘issue’. Perhaps a simple forced redirect after 5 minutes after placing the order would be sufficient…

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Ideally, it’s not possible since our Plugin is designed in such a way that the Purchase call is fired only once to the respective analytics account, the reloading won’t affect the duplication (even after the session expired)! So, there might be the other source sending the data (other than our Plugin).

But we’ll definitely help you troubleshoot the issue. For that, we request you to share the following access/details with us:

    • Store URL (with our plugin installed)
    • View level access of your analytics account at analytics2(at)tatvic(dot)com

    Hope to hear you soon!

    Thanks & Regards!

P.S: You can also share the same details on the above id directly.
