Duplicate content bug in wordpress
-
Hi, I discover people exploiting one old bug of wordpress explained here time ago https://perishablepress.com/wordpress-infinite-duplicate-content/ (the solution dont work in actual version). Its about creating links to differetn pages with “/randomnumbers/” and “/page/randomnumbers/” at the end of page and posts urls, in example:
https://wp-themes.com/?p=36/page/5005565456/ (post)
https://wp-themes.com/?p=36/11116333333335456/ (post)
https://demo.studiopress.com/genesis-sample/layouts/page/456465456/ (page)
https://demo.studiopress.com/genesis-sample/layouts/page/7/ (page)
https://demo.studiopress.com/genesis-sample/layouts/70/ (page)
https://demo.studiopress.com/genesis-sample/layouts/page/7000000000/ (page)Wordpress used the canonical option time ago, but its not a solution with the negative seo that most people are doing today, they use it to create lots of backlinks that give a 200 header instead of a 404 or even 301.
Someone had found a solution for revert this in htaccess or similar?
Thanks.
