Under Settings / Duplicate Check Method
    the descriptions says
“Choose a method to prevent ratings for the same post multiple times. This only applies for anonymous users.”

I assume “anonymous users” means people who are either non-members / guests or members who are not logged-in.

If that assumption is correct, I experiment and rate both when logged-in and not logged-in, this duplication check restriction occurred in both occasions. So what was wrong?

And if my assumption is correct, that also means guests (non-members) can also rate. So can we make non-members unable to rate?

One last thing: I can’t find the shortcode for listing Rating Results in alphabetical order on a page?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

I think you may have stumbled on the Pro version documentation.

The free version performs a duplicate check for all users (both anonymous and logged in ). The Pro version only needs to do a duplicate check for anonymous users though as it has logic to only allow logged in users to rate each post once (your assumption is correct by the way).

Some shortcode examples for the free version are listed here and the list of shortcodes and attributes available is documented at the bottom of the demo page here.

    I hope this helps,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

    Thank you for the reply.

I do need to make sure even though the free version performs a duplicate check for all users (both anonymous and logged in ), I can still allow logged-in users to rate again x hours every time after they rate based on the number of hours I set in the Settings, is that correct?

Also, the shortcodes on the pages you linked me to does not show one to place rating form on a specific post category only, or display result list for one specific post category only. So that means that’re not available?

    Thank you.
