I have configured 2 different tickets for a single main event with 5 related events.
In the event page of the main event a table with 5 rows and a header is shown in the Related Events section.
In the bookings section a table with 10 entries is shown: 5 identical entries for ticket type 1 and 5 identical entries for ticket type 2.
I would expect to get a booking table with only 2 entries.

Not really sure what you mean. Could you include a screenshot, please?

Please refer to the following url:

    https://www.tg07-eberstadt.de/events/testkurs-ongoing/

I’ve defined only 2 different ticket types and 5 related events.
After I’ve saved the main event, 10 ticket types are shown on the main event page.
It seems, the plugin multiplies the entered ticket types with the number of related events.
I.e., in case I define 2 ticket types and 50 related events I get a booking table with 2 x 50 duplicate entries.

The related events should not have bookings enabled. That’s the whole purpose of the plugin. ??
Also, the tickets should not be duplicated in the main event…

    Just for my understanding:
How did you create the ongoing events? First the main event with tickets, publish, create sub events? Or all in one go?

I’ve created the main event according to the subsequent process

    (1) open Create Event Dialog for the Main Event
    (2) Enter Date & Time for teh Main Event
    (3) Turn on the switch “Is this an ongoing event”
    (4) Enter Date & Time for further 4 related events
    (5) Turn on the switch “Enable Booking” (only for the main event)
    (6) Enter two different Ticket Types.
    (7) publish Main Event

After that, I had a Boking table with 10 entries.

I did a further test with the same event:

    (1) I opened the main event
    (2) I disabled the “Enable Booking” flag
    (3) Publish Event
    (4) navigate to main event page: no booking table is shown: OK
    (5) open main event
    (6) enable Booking flag
    (7) publish main event
    (8) navigate to main event page: Booking table with only one ticket type is shown
    (9) open main event
    (10) define a second ticket type
    (11) publish main event
    (12) navigate to main event page: Booking table with only two ticket typed is shown

I.e., I’ve achieved the desired result by simply disabling an re-enabling the booking flag and I have no idea for which reason the issue disappeared.

    Best regards,

For some reason EM sometimes (not even always) does some strange things with bookings. When I started coding this plugin, the tickets were moved to the sub event and the main event was “closed for bookings”.

I will look into this issue for you, but for now, I guess the safest way is:
    1) Create the full main event (location, bookings, tickets, etc)
    2) Publish the new event.
    3) Add the sub events.

While thinking about it… It might have too do with creating the tickets AND the sub events in on go. EM/WP might get confused. Since the error of moving the tickets, there is a code that moves the sub tickets back to the main event.

So, yes, follow the steps above. I will update the plugin soon so that only an already published event can be made into a main event. Just be safe.
