Duplicate Bids by Same User

A client just finished their first-ever auction, and all in all, it went well. Thanks for a good, usable plugin!

During the auction, however, there were a few instances where a bidder’s bid was recorded twice, at the same amount, with the same timestamp.

The users swear they only entered the bid once (did not double-click, etc.). In the DB, the entries’ date stamps are from 0 to 4 seconds apart.

Since it didn’t affect the bid increment or the winning bid, it does not invalidate the auction, but it could affect the overall perception of the product’s accuracy.

Any idea what might have caused these duplicate entries?
