    Hello ethang82

To clone a website if you would just like to use the same content. Leave the wp-confiq.php to the database you want to pull the content from the database. Then to put the same pictures themes and plugins copy the wp-content folder. You also will want to change the URL also.

    Hi thebigwebdesigner,

    Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately I’m not that much of a techie and I need step by step instructions. I know how to access the files via ftp but that’s it.

Also the website that I’d like to duplicate to is a subdomain of the original website. ie trade.nzartcards.com

Do I copy all the contents in the wp-content folder? Just copy and paste in the wp-contents folder in the subdomain?

Is it as easy as that?

    Thanks

    Cheers,
    E
