Duplicate a Course with lessons and quizes

  • Is there a way to duplicate a course and it’s associated lessons and quizzes?

    Here’s my problem: I have one big training course with 30 lessons and 4 quizzes. I have about 100 students who are/have completed the course and a lot more on the way. I need to figure out a way to segment future students by their location/city, and the most straight forward way is to duplicate the course, rename them by location (eg. Course-North, Course-West, etc.) and register/enroll students to the course by their location.

    If there is another solution to segmenting students by their location I’d be glad to hear it!

    I’m afraid there is no duplicate function.
    What are you trying to achieve with segmenting and why can’t they just use the same course?

    I hear you, I’d like them all to use one course, it’s easier to manage content that way. The client is having students from different franchises taking this course, so with potentially hundreds more students on the way they want to be able to organize students by location instead of searching through a list of hundreds of people.

    Duplicating the course into course-north, course-west, etc. seemed like the simplest solution. Essentially I need a way to organize students by their location.

    Maybe use the same course but different classes (LMS Groups)?
