Dupe checker

  • As my link library grows (using this AWESOME plugin!!), I find that I sometimes have duplicates in the lists.

    It would be a GREAT addition to add a “Find duplicates” tool into the plugin.

    (And, since sometimes links do or do not have a trailing slash, maybe ignore trailing slashes.)

    Sorry for the late response. I got quite busy during the holidays. That being said, you will be happy to learn that I just released a new version adding the functionality you requested. Update to 5.9.13.16 and you will see that the Reciprocal link checker is now called Link Checking Tools and that one of these tools is a duplicate link checker.

    As you suggested, I am ignoring trailing slashes. I also made it display two sections: one for links with duplicate URLs and one for links with duplicate names. Let me know if this new functionality works as expected and please consider donating to support this plugin’s development.

    I’m using your plugin on many sites, and some have a hundred or more links per library.
