I must be blind. I have built the index. I’m ready to go. But I cannot find the shortcode to insert the search engine onto one of my pages or posts. I’ve looked everywhere, the plugin website, the forum, all over the settings on my blog.

Please tell me I’m not going blind.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

It doesn’t look like Relevanssi has a shortcode by default. If I understand the plugin correctly, it takes over the stock search box in WordPress. If this is the case, you can register a new shortcode… here is an explanation I haven’t tried, though I hope to later today:

So, the purpose of the plugin is to improve the results displayed by a stock search box?

Yes, and its awesome… that is, if you are unhappy with how the default search functions.

Yes, Relevanssi uses the default search form (this is actually explained in the installation instructions). Basically any form that has a text input field that is named “s” will do, Relevanssi isn’t particularly picky.

Relevanssi doesn’t really care about the presentation of results, either –?that’s up to your search results template. Relevanssi just works under the hood and replaces the search results you get with better results.

That WPBeginner short code should work with Relevanssi, as it creates a perfectly normal WordPress search box.

This just improve, hight light the search result but not help to solve what ia m looking 4
    1. I need to filter post from 3 categories
    2. Display the result in a table for example: Countries I School I Falculty …

    Can anyone have any idea?

Please don’t post to an existing thread, but create your own.
