I’m in the File Manager and I can view the list of files for my theme. I want to update my header, but how do I view the file so I can do it? I upgraded from a free wordpress.com blog to www.remarpro.com today so all I have is an .xml file from moving my blog to my new hosting server, so I don’t have individual files for the theme. File Manager doesn’t appear to let me open a copy of the file so I can make changes. I know I need to have a copy of the file open to update it, then re-upload it in place of the old one, but I can’t get the old one open first. Thanks!

  • You can either download the relevant file to your computer, edit it in a plain text editor (like NotePad) and then re-upload it to your site. Or you can edit the file on the live site via Appearance->Editor.

Embarrassingly enough, I just found that editor. Thank you for your quick response!

    No problem ??
