due chiacchiere, an italian blog with brand new theme

  • hello guys, and first of all happy new year! I recently developed a new theme, that was inspired by an original template made for Mambo / Joomla CMS engine by mambochina.net. It is available at

    It’s a tableless layout, clean CSS for screen and print, xhtml 1.0 strict and WAI-WCAG A compliant. Could you please drop a note if you find something to improve or fix?

    Nice one! =) Seems fine in both IE6 and FF for me…the only thing that might need a little bit of adjustment, is the link at bottom of page.

    The spacing or padding needs adjusting a little bit. Seems to be fine in FF, but the link is laying right on the tan or brown border at the bottom. But it’s showing as like maybe 5px or so… up above it in FF. Other then that it’s looking great!! =)

    hello again! Luxx: you can improve your italian then reading my articles. I’m trying to use a simple language, so that also google translator or babelfish can understand and translate it ?? Spencerp: thanks for analyzing my site eh eh, you found one “known” bug! Actually, I’d like to have the IE behaviour also in FF (ie. hiding some pixels from the bottom…) but even playing with different CSS, the two browser seem not to agree on that ??

    coolmann…Yeah, I know what you’re saying about the two browsers putting out the displays differently. =( Me and Katie1, well really just Katie1 lol, has been trying to get the Andreas08 theme looking about the same in IE and FF.

    Maybe try posting a link to your CSS file once or something. Maybe someone could take a look see at it and help you with it. =) Or maybe I’ll download a copy of it and install it on my Test Blog and get Katie1 or (Kate) to help you with it through my test blog’s Admin CP. =) Just a thought..

    hello spencerp, thank you very much for your help. the CSS is located at

    and the class is “posts-links”. If Kate can help me, I’ll be really thankful ?? At the moment I didn’t release this template for download… I want it to be perfect ??
