DuckDuckGo search referrals are not counted :(

    Hello!

    Is there some way to count search referrals from DuckDuckGo?

    I haven’t seen a single referral for this SE counted over the last 6 months, while Yandex Metrika counts them.

    If there’s a bug to be fixed, I’d be happy to help with the debugging phase.

    I’ve confirmed they are counted on my own sites.

    Note that if your testing it yourself to make sure you haven’t been excluded as this will exclude the referral as well (for example if your logged in as your admin account and have excluded administrators and then do a search from duckduckgo you will not see it in the search engine referral list).

    Hi Greg,

    I found it strange because visits from a library computer (I was not logged in there) were not counted. I did not exclude DDG from the list of referrals.

    If it works for you, perhaps something’s broken with my website or server. Have no idea, honestly.

    No problem, if you know the IP address and time/date you did the search from you can look it up in the wp_statistics_visitors table and see what the referral field says.
