Dual wordpress on one database?

Is it possible to install two wordpress in two folders, both connected to the same database? I want one for normal internet browsers, and one for mobile theme.

I can’t use mobile theme plugins on my normal wordpress site, because of too many statick pages (exmpl home page and 40-60 underpages that are 100% statick). With a second install connected to the same database, I can set a normal blogg setup and use that setup as the mobile version with a mobile theme ??
