Dual language wordpress site – plugin recommendations

Hello to the wordpress community!
I need some help selecting an appropriate plugin for my site:
Basically I want to publish content in two languages, but I don’t want to mix both languages on homepage – I’d like for the user to switch to the appropriate one instead.
I’ve installed several plugins but I’m not finding the right solutions, either the plugin requires me to translate the whole thing, or I have to create a multi-site creating difficulties to update and maintain content on one single place.
