So, British Summer Time came to an end yesterday and, as well as dark evenings to depress me, QSOT’s ongoing DST date problem has reared it’s ugly head again!

Events created before the end of BST now display on the tickets as an hour earlier than they should be.

I’ve double-checked my templates and am definitely up-to-date, so everything is using QSOT_Utils::local_timestamp() and QSOT_Date_Formats(). Settings is set to “Acknowledge DST”.

Can you not just completely disable this time zone adjustment business and have 7.30pm stored in the database and printed out as 7.30pm, without trying to adjust it? I honestly don’t see the need for it. Even if an event did start on Saturday 28th October and finish on Sunday 29th, there’s no need to adjust the time as 7.30pm will always be 7.30pm!!

    Hello Peter,

Please know that we are working on looking into this for you. We also wanted to thank you for your assisted response with the forum issue – Not getting Ticket UI in event page.

    Thanks Peter
