dsIDXpress plugin

  • We are having some issue with the dsIDXpress plugin. We can see thumbprint photos of the listings but when we click on the listing, no photos are displayed, including the original thumbprint. The photos are supposed to populate from the dsIDXpress plugin. I see that you guys did an update/upgrade for this recently, and it potentially broke some sites such as ours. My questions is there an update or fix to this that you guys will be releasing soon, or what is the work around for the dsIDXpress problem?

    I hope you are doing well. Our last release was in January and we haven’t had any reports like this regarding photos which tells us that the issue is likely environmental: meaning, there is either be another plugin you are using that is causing compatibility issues, it could be something within your website theme itself, or it could even be something in your host causing the issue.

    Our suggestion, in cases like these, is to start with all the other plugins that you have activated.

    – First, deactivate all other plugins.
    – I’d also suggest clearing cache fully once you deactivate all other plugins
    – Once all other plugins are deactivated (except dsIDXpress) and you have cleared your cache, check to see if the photos still experience the issue
    – If the issue still exists, it may be something within your site/theme causing the issue and you’d want to check that next.
    – If the issue does NOT exist once you have deactivated all other plugins… you’ll know right away that the issue is related to one of the plugins you had activated.
    – To determine WHICH plugin is the offending plugin, slowly activate each plugin again, testing AFTER EACH activation to see when the issue starts happening again.
    – When the issue starts happening you’ll have found the offending plugin.
