    Hi there, first of all – this is one of the best gpx viewer / Marker Plugins I have come across in the last 2 decades. It has everything I was looking for, it’s easy and straightforward. Thank you!

    To ensure compliancy to DSVGO/GDPR while loading a map from an external server in our region, I want to show an overlay /snippet across the map, to ask first for consent /add a description etc, before the map is loaded. This extension is for example available for leaflet map ( github ) working independantly from the cookie banners. How can I apply this to my maps? Or is there a script I can implement? I am using complianz. (update: I can set complianz to put a placeholder here for consent, but doing this makes the box disappear completely without any snippet. This is not a solution either) Thanks for your help

    Ahh, and is there going to be an update to the latest wordpress version?

    I had a quick look at this plugin as well as their developer documentation and wasn’t able to get a simple solution working unfortunately.

    I think the easiest thing would be to trigger a page refresh once consent is given – the hope being that Waymark can then load normally. The developer documentation lists JavaScript callback functions, so this should be possible. I hope this is of some help.

    Ahh, and is there going to be an update to the latest wordpress version?

    Hi Joe,

    I managed to get a placeholder working from complianz. The wrap had to be adjusted to cover the div too: waymark-container This did the job and is working now.

    Can you confirm what cookies waymark in cooperation with OSM is loading – if any? Not sure if I missed anything here. Thanks!
