Dropdowns (SELECT Menus) not working in Safari 5.1

Hi there,

I am having the same issues. I am still on Snow Leopard though so the problem is with Safari 5.1

I use a Gravity Forms with a theme by elegant themes. When I test the Form before the theme is applied the drop down menus work. It seems to be something the theme is doing.

When I click on the drop down menu every instance of Safari 5.1 refreshes itself. I’m pretty new to this so ANY help would be appreciated.

Nevermind, I figured out my issue. I was trying to use @font-face on the drop down and I guess Safari doesn’t like that. Removed the “font-family” from the CSS and it works!

sorry guys. I am having exactly the same issue, and can’t figure out in which css you have to remove that font.

I am using elegantthemes’ feather theme with gravity forms.

Is it the theme’s css or some gravity form’s css i have to delete the font ?

As this is a commercial theme, we cannot really help. You need to seek support from the theme vendors.

what you say is correct, but still:

i am having exactly the same behavior of safari in forms (reload of page when selecting a drop down, also Safari, OS X Lion and buddypress). And it is probably the exact same way i can fix it. I only would like to know which css the guys are editing. Nothing more.
