Dropdowns not working

    No dropdowns are working in the Depicter backend. When you click on them, nothing appears.

    I’ve tried disabling all plugins, using a basic theme, changing PHP versions, but it doesn’t seem to work. I even did a clean installation of WordPress locally (outside the servers where I manage my sites), and the error persists.

    Clearly, it’s a problem with the plugin itself. Has anyone figured out how to deal with this bug?

    Hi.

    Upon rechecking, I have found that everything is functioning properly. It’s possible that there may be some JavaScript errors that are causing the issue, which can be identified by checking your browser console. You may refer to our guidelines for further assistance:

    I like to add that sometimes browser add-ons can cause issues like this. Therefore I recommend that you check this again on incognito/private mode or with another browser if possible.

    Have the same issue. Tried in chrome, incognito mode, firefox also. Developer console does not show any error. Also tried a standard wordpress theme and deacivated all plugins. Nothing helps. Im on latest wordpress 6.4.3 and Depicter 2.1.3. Is there any solution? Where can I download older versions of depicter to downgrade?

    Hi.

    There has to be some sort of JS error on your page console and that should lead us to the root cause of the problem.

    Please check for any errors based on our guidelines and let me know the results

    Almost 2 months and this still not working

    UPDATE: I just tested older versions, and everything works fine up to 1.9.6. The issue starts from version 2.0.0. This error has been persisting from this version onwards.

    Hi – not sure this will help anyone, but I thought I would share. I inspected the font drop-down element in the slide editing dashboard, and one of the media queries was “prefers reduced motion.” I searched that and found an article on Stack Exchange: https://stackoverflow.com/a/59708982/4959465

    I changed my Windows animation settings, and all is working fine. I’m very happy because I didn’t want to downgrade or abandon Depicter.
