Dropdown view menu in ../events/ does not work if WP is set to Italian

If I set my WordPress language to Italian instead of English, when I try to use the dropdown menù “View As” in the top right corner of the “../events” page, it takes me to a wrong not existent page… example:

With the website lang set to Italian, I choose: “View as > List” (in italian, “Visualizza come > Elenco”)

it takes me to https://www.garfagnanadream.it/events/elenco/

Note, it takes me to “../elenco” that is the italian word for “list”. But that page actually does not exist! It should bring me to “/events/list”, not to “/events/elenco”, because on the italian version I get a 404 page. If i manually go to “../list” it works, also if WordPress lang is set to Italian.

How to reproduce:

Set WordPress to Italian, use the “View as” dropdown menu to choose “Elenco”. It brings you to a 404 page.
