Dropdown Select preview not working

Quite likely your actual font files are not containing the correct weight meta data; browser then cannot distinguish the weights from one another.

I have a fix for this issue in the development version, but it needs more testing still. In the meantime please make sure your fonts contain the correct weight class meta data.

If you are referring to the swashes being added to all characters, please see https://github.com/graphicore/specimenTools/issues/32 – this is a problem with some graphic design apps handling something in a way that is not according to specification, and when browsers (and this plugin, and the specimenTools library under the hood of this plugin) implement it correctly, this is how it should look. As mentioned in my comment in the link, ‘calt’ features might be a more appropriate way to implement those end swashes, and then render correctly in the plugin as well.

I suggest you include several basic Fontsamplers of that font on the page, and wrap each with a div containing a special css class for the respective opentype feature. In you css then overwrite the text area of the Fontsampler to have those opentype features activated.
