Dropdown menu with categories

    Hello Ben,
    my menu consists of pages and categories as sub-items. Is there a possibility that the first level with the currently active category link remains open? When I have opened a post, the menu no longer shows which category the post belongs to. Should look something like this:
    1. link +
    2. link –
    – 2.1 sublink
    – 2.2 sublink (active)
    – 2.3 sublink
    3. link +
    4. link +
    I found a plugin (Current Menu Item for Custom Post Types), but it only works for one category. Have a look at “Neubau” or “Modernisierung”. Thanks in advance.

    I’m afraid there isn’t a good solution for this right now. It would require quite a bit of custom code and this is outside the scope of support I can offer.

    Since there aren’t any plugins available for this feature, I will look into creating a new one and post it here if possible.

    Thanks for the fast respond. I suspected that.

    It would be great if you could offer a suitable plugin for this great theme. Maybe an extension for Author Pro? Just an idea.
