Dropdown menu visibility

  • Im using the Ocean WP vertical menu.

    Got the following two issues
    1. I wanted the drowdown menu to be visible once you are on the pages in the dropdown menu. I added this CSS.

    #site-header.vertical-header #site-navigation-wrap .dropdown-menu > li.current-menu-parent .sub-menu { display: block !important; }

    But now the second level of the menu is always displayed and not only when youre on the pages in the second menu level. How do I modify this css…

    2. The dropdown menu workes everywhere except for the homepage, where its just not visible. Was not able to fix this.

    Please excuse my late reply.

    I were not able to fix any of the issues so far.

    1. On the homepage, the “+” sign for the dropdown menu is still not visible.

    2. Once you browse any of the sites in the dropdown, the second level of the dropdown menu is always open. This causes bugs when you click on the “+” for the second level dropdown.

    I would really appreciate if you could have another look at this!

    The issue is only on the home page. All other pages are working fine. Icon class is not generated on the home page, therefore, it is not working. Are you using a different menu for the home page from the page-level settings? Have you tried disabling/enabling plugin one by one for a possible conflict?

    I tried troubleshooting and it seems like the problem was caused by the plugin “Essential Addons for Elementor”. For some reason, however, deactivating and reactivating it seems to have solved the issue.

    But I still haven′t figured out how to handle the second dropdown, which is always open once you browse sites in the first dropdown (?)

    Can you share a screenshot? Because It is working fine for me or I missed something.

    The first dropdown works just fine. But i created a second dropdown under “Elternbeirat”, which at the moment only contains the site “Test”. Once you browse any site in the first dropdown, the “+” for the second dropdown is always open and it bugs when you click on it.

    You can see the second dropdown open in the screenshot.
