Dropdown Menu in Header Opens and Resets Automatically on Desktop

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a bit of a puzzling issue with my WordPress site. On desktop mode, the dropdown menu in the header opens automatically when I load the page and then resets or closes shortly after. It’s not happening in mobile view, just on desktop.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

Site URL:
Theme: Kedence

What I’ve Tried:

Disabled all plugins to see if there’s a conflict (the issue still occurs).
Switched to a default WordPress theme to check if it’s theme-related (the problem persists).
Cleared browser cache and tested in different browsers (issue remains the same).

Extra Info:

No error messages in the console.
No major changes were made to the site recently before this started.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas on how to fix it? I’d really appreciate any help or advice!

This is quite odd though. I haven’t encountered a similar reported issue.

I checked your site and I can see what you mean with the open dropdown menu. And you are right, I’m also not seeing any error log on the browser console: https://imghostr.com/549d04_2zw

Can you go through this so we can rule out the usual culprits? You can skip the steps you have already tried: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/

Also, if you are not familiar with error logs, I suggest reaching out to your hosting provider and having them check your PHP error logs.

Some hosting providers have a built-in way to view your error log. If yours doesn’t, you can manually turn on debugging mode to view your error log.

You can ask your hosting provider for assistance on determining which error log entry is created by this event.
