Dropdown menu arrows show up as squares

  • I just made my first website. I use the Tropicana theme, and everything was fine at first.
    But now, the dropdown menus’ arrows show as empty squares, and on phone it doesn’t show anything at all, but if you click where the arrows would have been, you get the Dropdowns… The same thing happens on Chrome (I use Safari normally).

    The only plugins I’ve installed are WooCommerce, Markup by Attribute for WooCommerce, and Variations Swatches for WooCommerce.
    I think the problem occurred before installing the latter two, but I’m not 100% sure.

  • A good way to check to see which plugin might have affected this is by deactivating each plugin one by one and seeing if the dropdown arrows appear. Once you find the culprit it would probably be best to put in a support ticket to the themes developers so they know that the specific plugin conflicts with their dropdown arrows and they can fix it for you and for anyone else that has the issue.
