Dropdown list from another table

    I am rather new to WP and members. I need to build a profile for all users that they can complete but need an option where I can add a drop down selection that will do a lookup and link to another table in the DB and store the linked ID number. I have a list of over 400 courses and is growing, and a users belongs to one on the courses.

    Any suggestion on how this can be done.

    Sorry for the late response.

    Are you going to import users with the courses? A WP user should at least have a reference meta that has the course ID. In this way, you can sync the courses related to the user. If the existing user doesn’t have a course ID as meta value, you won’t be able to link the Courses automatically – you’ll need to manually assign the courses to the user.
