    Hi,

is there a way to use the table like a dropdown menu?

It would be great if users could click on the tablehead and then the whole table content will appear.

I want to make a site with many different and long tables, so it would be great if I can only show the tableheads and users can pop up only the tables they are interested in.

    Regards

    Naddy

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

TablePress does not offer such a feature natively, I’m afraid, as this is out of the scope of tables. You should instead look for a plugin that can add so-called accordion blocks to your pages. You can then insert the table Shortcode into these.
Alternatively, as this only requires a tiny bit of CSS and JS code, you could implement the approach manually, e.g. following this idea: https://tobias.baethge.com/2009/07/expandhide-accordion-feature-explained/

    Thank you very much!

I found a plugin for accordion blocks. The name is “Accordion Or FAQ”. I’m very happy with it. ??
