Hi, we are using a paid version (Pro) of WPForms. We’ve just discovered that we cannot save new forms if a dropdown field is added. Checked Ajax file permissions, set correctly. It also applies to existing forms if you try and edit them and they contain a dropdown. This message keeps coming up.

“Something went wrong while saving the form. Please reload the page and try again. Please contact the plugin support team if this behavior persists.”

I see this is a common issue, as other have posted about it. Do you have a resolution to the issue? We are running latest version of WP and have made no recent changes to plugins, aside from upgrading our server PHP to version 8.0

Worth mentioning we have also tried rolling back PHP, with no effect.

    Hi @medikalife

    We’d be happy to help!

It seems that you are using the paid version of WPForms. If you have an active license subscription with us, could you please submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard when you have a chance?

From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request.

    Thanks!

    Hi Nikhil

I’d prefer to try and resolve it here, as it is clear it’s a prevalent issue with your software and the public would benefit, if that’s okay with you. Our domain is clinics4life.com and you can validate the license from that, cant you? We’ve checked ALL fields, and it is only the dropdown that is causing this issue. Form wonts save and older saved forms cannot be edited if they contain this field. Once you delete it from the older form and replace it with, for instance, a checkbox, it saves.

We are on an Apache server, Namecheap hosting, PHP 8, latest WordPress release. Logs do not show anything.

Clearly, your company isn’t interested in their paying customers, We will uninstall your software and look elsewhere. Your software is only of value if it is supported publicly.

    Hi @medikalife,

We apologize for the frustration you’re facing and we’d happy to investigate the issue on the support channel here .this would be going against the the rules that govern the www.remarpro.com support forums and commercial plugins.

Please refer to this thread for more insights on this.

    Thank you for understanding.
