Hi, so the shop I’m working for uses your plugin to sell their stuff online, to collaborate, we use Dropbox. So the plugin through dropbox created a folder but we are unable to share the folder among team members. My boss has asked dropbox about this but they have been unable to resolve this. I’m thinking there’s a limitation with the plugin? I might be wrong. I tried to look through Google for solution but have not found any. I’m hoping that this can easily be resolved. Thanks!

    I’m not following 100% ??

    You mentioned the following:

So the plugin through dropbox created a folder but we are unable to share the folder among team members.

Are you saying that the core WooCommerce plugin created that folder or are you referring to another plugin that extends WooCommerce in some way?

I’ll have to ask my boss to be sure but from what Ive told it’s that the core WooCommerce plugin created a folder inside Dropbox. unfortunately, we are unable to share said folder to other people—to the point that my boss just gave us the login details of the shop’s Dropbox account.

I hope I’ve clarified myself. Thanks.

    Hi @nathmijares

This isn’t a feature of the core WooCommerce plugin and sounds like you have another extension which is helping you with that.

First step would be to find out which plugin is handling this and speak to their support team.

What is it this plugin does? What is contained in the Dropbox folders which you need to collaborate on?

    Thanks,

so talked to my boss and clarified things a bit and this is what I was told:
“Apps folder is created by the fact that you make Api connection with DropBox, any application that required API will be under Apps folder, one of them is WooCommerce
Any other that would also require it then be a subfolder in Apps”

and I believe it’s a sharing limitation within Dropbox’s API based on my research, and since we use WooCommerce Upload to easily sort out orders, the files get sent to the folder, and because of the limitation, we can’t access the folder unless we login into the team’s Dropbox account itself.

    Hey @nathmijares

I would recommend reaching out to Dropbox or the maker of the plugin you are using to handle the Dropbox integration as this isn’t a WooCommerce bug but is on the Dropbox side of thing.

As this isn’t a WooCommerce support request I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
