Dropbox Like Plugin

I am looking for a plugin that almost works in the same way as dropbox.

Dropbox userflow:
A person logs on to dropbox anywhere in the world, uploads a photo to a folder, that folder is the accessible on the computer desktop through a synced folder.

Required WordPress Userflow:
A contributor logs into wordpress site, uploads an album of photos. These photos are then accessible locally on desktop.

Reasons:
Basically I am creating a workflow where after the photos have been uploaded by contributor, these photos are synced to a desktop folder which has been synced with a computer program to automatically import from the synced folder and run certain actions on…

I understand I could probably take the long way around at use an autobackup to wordpress plugin that would backup to wordpress, then sync to my desktop altough i believe that I would have to set the backup to happen every x days or whatever rather than immediately and im not sure but would the folder also create multiple backups rather that just one?
