I have a massive website. It is brushing up against the limits of the current hosting plan. So I am migrating to a new plan. I purchased the Pro version and the Dropbox extension. The site is 35GB and Dropbox has 1.5TB available storage.

Both manually initiating a backup fails because of the available storage, but so does my scheduled Dropbox backup?

Is this because it still saves the entire thing as a zip first and THEN tries to move it to Dropbox? If that is the case, can I have a refund as I cannot use your plugin to solve my issue?

    Thanks

You’ve already failed to respond for a week, and failed to respond to my reply to YOUR email to me at the time of purchase.

I’ve confirmed that this plugin still creates a local backup, even when using Dropbox, so it’s of no value to me.

No thank you. I confirmed on my own that I cannot use your plugin and I’m eating the cost.

    Why would you do this?

Because I don’t have time to rehash all of this with one of your support techs. However responding here, at least makes this poor experience part of the record.

Anyone looking for server to server migration needs to have all the room for a local backup available, even when using the Dropbox extension, and I wasted a week determining this myself since no one replied. Your own email prompts a conversation after the purchase, and then you never reply.

    Ok I’m out.
