    Hi,
    I save Updraft Plus backups to my DropBox. My Dropbox account is authenticated, working, and I’ve backed up several websites.

    One website, however only partly backs up and the log shows numerous errors:

    “PHP event: code E_WARNING: ZipArchive::close(): Write error: Disk quota exceeded (line 3135, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/backup.php)”

    “[Warning] A zip error occurred
    The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature).”

    “Dropbox error: exception (Dropbox_BadRequestException) occurred whilst getting account info: Error in call to API function “users/get_space_usage”: request body: could not decode input as JSON”

    I’ve reauthenticated my Dropbox account but get the same errors.

    I have a 1TB Dropbox that is just 30% of storage used.

    Any ideas how I can make full backups please.

    Hi Tom,

    Could you post the full backup log via a service like pastebin as the contents will be to large to post here.

    But looking at the first error message it would seem that the storage space on your server is full.

    You may have old local backups stored that are taking up your space.

    Or your site maybe larger than what your storage space allows e.g UpdraftPlus needs to create the backup files locally before it can send them to remote storage.

    So you may need to contact your hosts and ask can they increase your storage limit.

    Once thats resolved could you try another backup and see if it works.

    i have the same problems in my logfile, i think that the problem is too big foto files. How can I send you the log file to examine this for me.

    Hi Renate,

    You will need to download the log file, and upload either the file itself or the contents to an online service, and post the link.

    Pastebin can be used, but WeTransfer should work.

    Please could you post the link in a new topic, to avoid confusion?

    Hi,
    Yes, it looks as though there are duplicate files that are taking up too much space on my hosting account.
    I will remove them with Bluehost’s help.
