Dropbox Authentication Fails On Godaddy

    Two days ago backups on the only site I admin which is hosted on Godaddy ceased sending backups. I had already re-autheticated the dropbox location several days before that and everything was working fine.

    I uninstalled the plugin, checked the database for any residuals (…there were none – a clean uninstall) and installed a fresh latest version.
    I entered the setting from scratch and used the default “Destination Folder” name.
    Still no authentication.
    The account is not a Godaddy “WordPress managed account”, I manage it.

    Note that I used multiple different configurations for the destination folder including “InpsydeBackWPup”, “InpsydeBackWPup w/ a sub-folder of the default destination name”, and just a folder with the default destination name – still authentication continually fails.

    I have your plugin installed on other sites I admin that are on other hosts and they are working fine since reauthentication. It is just Godaddy that is failing authentication.

    Godaddy’s response to my query was that it is a “problem with the plugin”.

    Is anyone else having this issue with Godaddy, and is there any solution to this?

    …seems to have fixed itself. Not an issue w/ the plugin, more than likely Godaddy.

    I did nothing, it just started working again – which is why I considered it an issue with Godaddy and not the plugin. As in my initial post, the plugins on my other hosts worked fine, it was just the one on the Godaddy server that continually failed.
