Since the latest update to 2.0.52, the drop down selector is now under the title, where previously it was next to it. This is just our personal hobby site, aka the guinea pig, so no big deal, but I think I’m going to hold off on updating the money earning sites until I know what’s going on.

Here is another hobby site site with Easy TOC, on version 2.0.51.1

    https://www.discoverspain.today/spanish-facts-about-spain/

Also, TOC seldom ever jumps to the exact right spot, sometimes it does, but the rest of the time it misses the mark by a good few paragraphs.

    Thx, Sean.

Hi, We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused you. Can you please kindly share the screenshots of your TOC dashboard settings setup for debugging purposes of the issue? So that we will check the issue and assist you to fix it earliest.

I’m on a 13″ laptop, so I’d have to take about 12 screenshots to show you, and then I’d have to share them via some 3rd party service as these forums still don’t allow uploading images directly. Unless you can add a feature to share/export the settings in one go, no screenshots involved, lots of other themes and plugins already do this.

Either way, it was working fine before the update, so I’m not sure it’s my settings and that I need to fix anything. I might just roll back a version.

Edit: While typing this post, I checked again. It seems to be working fine now. It might have been a css/js caching issue. I’m on Siteground hosting using SG Optimiser and their in-house premium CDN.

Another edit: you do have an export settings feature. Wouldn’t that be much easier than images? You can then just import them into a test site.

Feel free to check both those sites again from your end to see if the problem has gone away, then I guess we can mark this issue resolved.

@magazine3 We are seeing this same behavior on all our websites. Is it really resolved? I cleared all caches except the Cloudflare cache. Maybe I will clear the Cloudflare cache once I can get the owners to log into Cloudflare to do so. But clearing all other caches didn’t resolve this issue.

I’m guessing CF cache works somewhat differently to SiteGround’s in-house CDN/caching system, in that we have 1 button that clears everything, all at once, CDN included. But, clearing the CDN locations around the world can take several minutes.

I can’t imagine it being anything other than some kind of a caching issue as the problem seems to have mysteriously resolved itself, for me anyway, with no further plugin updates.

@magazine3 I flushed all caches (Cloudflare, object cache, optcode cache, page cache, etc.) and the problem still occurs across my websites. Any ideas?

UPDATE: Ok, so I tried one last thing and it worked, for anybody else having this problem. Simply disable the plugin, clear all caches (maybe not necessary), and then re-enable the plugin. That worked for me.

Version 2.0.52 may has a small bug. As you can see from the img bellow:
The text is not surrounding the content.

My another website is still using old version 2.0.51, the normal one like this:

Don’t you want to sort this out in another ticket/thread? Think I’ll have to un-subscribe from this one as I keep getting notified about it, yet my problem was solved, on its own.
