Drop-in appeared without adding it

    I’m hoping someone can help me figure this out, in the plug-ins section where it says All |Active | Inactive | Recently Active | and now
    Drop-ins just appeared. Under it, it says:
    Plugin Description advanced-cache.php
    Advanced caching plugin. Inactive: Requires define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); in wp-config.php.

    The thing is I haven’t added a cashe plugin nor did I add this. What do I do with it? I am concerned that my site is not being hacked. Any assistance would be appreciated. I’m not code savvy.
