Drop-downs not working on ipad in portrait mode

  • the subject does not seem new, but I just cannot find a way to have the menus showing on ipads in portrait mode.

    I have reverted to the native css for the navigation elements.

    I use a child theme with other light custommisation.

    removing all plug-ins didn’t change anything.

    Any help much welcome! I don’t know what to try any more!

    Note: I alsried reverting to the parent scheme (standard arcade-basic theme) and still, my drop downs are hidden on iPad (but ok on desktop and a collapsed menu that works fine on the iPhone).
