Drop down menus not working

  • I Want the main menu to be able to have drop downs. In Appearance/Menu I created a menu, in which About is a custom link with a #. Below it I want Eric Hamber’s Career, Hamber the Hockey player and a couple of more.

    They are not showing as drop downs but as main menu items.

    How can I fix this please? TIA.

    In fact, it is placing all the main menu items randomly, not in the order I have placed them. Is this a common problem? If so, I will have to change themes. ??

    I want the order to be
    Home
    About (with dropdowns)
    …. Eric Hamber’s Career
    …. Hamber The Hockey Player
    Gallery
    Contact

    If I can force dropdowns to work, I would break up the large gallery into three.
    Someone please help me

    Finally figured it out, no thanks to any admins. <sigh>
    Customize/Menus/View All Locations/Pick your main menu that you have built in Appearance/Menus
