drop down menu problems

I changed the font size on my website from 12px to 14px. Now, when I try to choose a selection from the drop down menu on the navigation bar, the selections disappear when I start to move the cursor down to select one of them. It doesn’t do this at 12px but it does at 14px. Any ideas? Thank you.
