    Hello,

Thank you for this amazing theme Carol !

I just have a little problem with the drop-down menu on my android mobile. Let’s say I’ve got a “movie” categorie, and several subcategories (FYI: I made this menu using WP Admin panel : I created a blank link “movie” and then added subcategories).
When I hover over “movie” on my webpage, the subcategories appear ; but when I press on “movies” on my mobile…well, obviously I got redirected to a page that doesn’t exist.

How can I activate the drop-down menu on my phone? I haven’t made any changes in the PHP files yet, but I guess that’s where it happens…

Thank you for your help !

Since most mobile devices don’t support :hover, the navigation menu should fall back to a Javascript-powered toggle menu. I don’t have an Android device to test on to confirm whether it’s working for all such devices. :-/

The easy solution is to point your “Movies” category to somewhere that isn’t a blank link — maybe a page that lists all the subcategories.

That’s my best advice, unless you want to recode the menu to work for Android devices — the files for this are in js/small-menu.js if you wanted to dig deeper.

Thank you so much for your quick answer !
I was somehow expecting this, so I’ll take your advice and point my category to a real page… And I’ll maybe have a look at the js/small menu later !

Thanks again for your help and your work on this beautiful theme !

Just in case somebody else have the same issue, I just found this plugin that perfectly does the trick (for Android mobile anyway) :

Glad you found a workaround! I’m going to mark this as resolved, but if you have further issues, don’t hesitate to create a new post. Good luck with your site. ??
