It would be AMAZING if you could add a drop down quantity selector instead of the -+ buttons.

Almost everyone is on mobile these days. And drop down quantity selectors are best for mobile UX. Amazon does it for this same reason. Makes it quick and easy.

Would be cool to have a setting to enable a quantity drop down menu throughout the whole website (cart page and product page) and include a setting for choosing the maximum quantity in the drop down menu.

    Ok nice tip!

I added a selector, by the default it’s not enabled so you can enable under Woo Ajax Cart settings.

    WOW! Amazing!! Thanks so much!!

But can we extend it so that all quantity inputs are changed?

It makes sense to have a uniform quantity selector experience throughout the site.

Currently it doesn’t change the inputs on the product page, only the shopping cart page.

Also I just realised there is a bug. The drop down box quantity doesn’t stay at the correct number after redirecting to cart.

For example: If I choose 4 items on the product page, I then get redirected to the cart which shows the correct totals (4 x product price) but the drop down selector box only shows a quantity of 1.

    Hi bennyngill

I’ve extended the Quantity select to show on product page.

    Fixed the bug issue also.

You have great ideas, thanks for contribution.

Thanks for making such a good plugin! I’ve been looking for this functionality for a long time. I tried hacking something together a long time ago but it didn’t work. So your hard work is very much appreciated ??

There is just one last thing I have noticed… the drop down menu has a default value of 1. But it should start with a default value of 0.

Because when you have multiple items on a product page it’s impossible to exclude the items you don’t want (see example here: https://elementpaints.com/shop/acrylic-paint-set/) so it should have a default value of 0 not 1 to prevent that from happening.

I added the “0” option on the Select, really it’s make sense

But i keep the default value of 1 because it’s a woocommerce default so i’m not sure to change this.

Thanks for the feedback and keep me informed.

Seems to be working perfectly now ??

I think because the product page I am using is a “group product” WooCommerce knows to use the lowest number (which is now 0) so it works fine.

    Thanks again!
